Service Description - XMP/Package System assist

1. General Conditions

This document describes the services provided by aubex GmbH for the administration of the XMP (XENTRY Menu Pricing) database and the Package System database. The system owner of XMP/ Package System is Mercedes-Benz AG or Daimler Truck AG.

XMP includes the categories Cars, Vans, and smart

Package System includes the Truck category

2. Service and Pricing Model Overview

2.1 Initial Administration of XMP/Package System Database / One-Time Administration

When the service is first commissioned, initial database administration is performed. This includes the following services:

Onetime Services

XMP

Package System

Individual Dealer Settings

Discount Group Maintenance

Standard Hourly Rates

AMG/EQ/Hybrid Hourly Rates

Parts Replacement per Customer Specification

Creation of Custom Parts, Including Replacement

Creation of Local Tasks

Note: The initial administration is only performed and charged upon new commissioning.

Only applicable with new commissioning of the assist maintenance for XMP and Package System.

2.2 Ongoing Administration of XMP/Package System Database - assist

The ongoing administration of your XMP/Package System database includes the following services:

2.2.1 XMP assist:

  • Maintenance of parts replacements and prices per your specifications

  • Adjustment of hourly rates (incl. AMG/EQ/Hybrid, etc.) per your specifications

  • Automatic switching for summer/winter preparations

  • Creation of XSF tickets (error reports, e.g., incorrect/missing package content) directly with the manufacturer (upon request)

  • Activation and calculation of manufacturer campaigns (e.g., SVP20, smart SVP20, SVP20_SP)

  • Creation of custom campaigns, calculations per your specifications¹²

  • Custom package adjustments (e.g., add/remove part numbers/work positions to/from packages)²

  • Creation of local/custom packages per specification (e.g., tire change, HU/AU inspection, AC cleaning, etc.)²

  • Advice on all XMP-related questions (via email/phone)

  • We keep you updated! We provide short explanatory videos or FAQs on current topics and questions about XMP at regular intervals.

  • Processing of monthly updates from the manufacturer (approx. 12 times per year):

  • Assignment of newly delivered model series/models for AMG/EQ/Hybrid (or other models billed separately) to your individually created hourly rate groups

  • Calculation of newly delivered packages per your individual calculations; e.g., fixed prices, discounts/surcharges, rounding up/down, etc.

  • Post-processing of newly delivered packages per your custom package adjustments, e.g., "add cleaner to all service packages."

  • Includes a time allowance of 8h/year for additional tasks²:

    • Adding/removing package contents

    • Creating local packages

2.2.2 Package System assist:

  • Maintenance of parts replacements per your specifications

  • Automatic switching for summer/winter preparations

  • Package refusal

  • Support via email/phone

  • Includes a time allowance of 8h/year for additional tasks²:

    • Adding/removing package contents2

    • Creating local packages2

²Scope is estimated in advance based on effort; deducted from your current time allowance / separate offer provided.

3. Additional Paid Services

Upon request, additional services beyond ongoing maintenance can be commissioned.
Examples include:

  • Services exceeding the available time allowance and requiring additional time

  • Services not included in the chosen package

Our experts will calculate the required effort in advance and present it to you for review and approval. The service will only be performed after your authorization.

Billing is on an hourly basis. The hourly rate valid at the time of commissioning applies.

4. Contractual Terms

4.1 Term

The contract has a term of 12 months and automatically renews for an additional 12 months unless either party terminates it with a notice period of 3 months before the end of the term.

4.2 Compensation

Billing occurs immediately upon the start of service provision for the entire term in advance.

4.3 Confidentiality Obligation

The contractor agrees to maintain confidentiality regarding all operational and business matters of the client learned during the service, even after the contract ends.

4.4 XMP/Package System Database Access

The dealership agrees to provide at least two users with access to the XMP/Package System database. Any costs are to be borne by the dealership.

Both contracting parties agree to inform each other of any changes concerning user access.

The contractor agrees to use the provided users solely for the agreed scope of services and to comply with any usage guidelines (if known). A separate agreement may be made if necessary.

5. Organization

Our support team offers you industry expertise in the automotive field, providing comprehensive support for all questions related to the Mercedes-Benz AG/Daimler Truck AG brands.
